Method for my friends

My Extreme Games are done.I was 9th last night during the superpipe qualification which meant that I was the first one who didn´t make the finals!

it was kinda weird to be honest but who cares.all that matters is that I was having a great time while riding the U-ditch!

I promised my friends back home that I gotta do method in every contest run rest of the season.Sorry guys I have broken my promise...this one is from the practice!

Winter X-games 2010

Im feeling so Xtreme right now.Everytime I come to aspen I have to cross my arms and make em´look like X!

Naah just kidding! but remember to check out X-games Superpipe Elimination tommorrow. it´s gonna be out of hands.Pipe is just perfect and I can honestly say that Mr. Frank Wells is the best pipe builder in the world!

it´s so much fun to blast methods out that thing up in Buttermilk,Aspen.

3rd in Stoneham World Cup!

Yeah Baby!

I just finished 3rd in World Cup at Stoneham,Canada.My fellow finnish rider Janne Korpi won and Canadian Jeff Bachelor got second. contest was last olympic qualifier for finnish team and to be honest I was already feeling that I don´t have a chance to even make the team.

now the tables have turned and finnish olympic committee have a hard call to do.I´ve already booked a filming trip to Japan during the olympics but now I gotta wait until next week and see where Im going next.

both opportunities sound great to me! Ride in Olympics or Ride pow in Hokkaido! Hells Yeah! anyways Im having a best time of my season right now.It felt great to be on the podium after beating my serious injury!

Burton European Open in Laax was fun times again this year! but for me it was even more special than before since I was able to start shredding fully 100% again.this year I decided to skip slopestyle and just cruised around in pipe contest as well.it was just too early for me to start doing harder tricks right after my injury.

However I was riding a lot in backcountry and it was so much more fun that I remembered.during my injury I had time to think about which direction I really wanna take my snowboard career and anwser is easy.I wanna ride more and more natural terrain...to me it´s way more harder than riding park and in future I´d like to take my park/piperiding skills to BC and show myself that I can adjust to any terrain that´s out there.

Permission to Ride

Hey,

last thursday was probably best day of the season for me!my doctor gave high five and told me to start riding!

Im so stoked!I´ve been riding for 2 days now and I flew straight to Burton European Open to shred some pipe.

It´s for sure rusty a bit since my ribs are still hurting quite a lot but Im just gonna enjoy as much as I can.

It took me a while to realize that things could have been much worst and Im so happy that people who were helping me this whole time took such a good care of me!

THANKS to my family,friends,doctors and staff in Frisco Hospital, Colorado.

It´s funny that when I was healthy I wasn´t appriciating snowboarding as much as I should have.when ever I get hurt I realize how much I love to snowboard!

It´s just the best!

Getting my kicks back on!

Just wanted to let ya all know that my recovery is going better and better everyday.

tommorrow Im going to Helsinki to see my doctor and take MRI of my spleen.if my spleen looks fine I can start slowly ride again.

this would mean that probably in 2 weeks I could start shred hard again! during my recovery I´ve been able to think a lot what I really wanna do with my snowboarding career.

One thing is for sure I wanna but my biggest effort for this website and filming for it.I wanna produce some good riding for you guys! Olympics are just around the corner and to be honest I think it´s too late for me.

Im not gonna throw my hopes away yet but if Im not in 100% condition with in 2 weeks then Im gonna decide not to even try to go since I really wanna get healthy and have a good time rest of the season.

Hope you all had a great year 2009 and I hope that 2010 is gonna be even better!
