Turning— it’s the oldest trick in the game. And still the best.
Last spring, I had the opportunity to join the two-time Olympic gold medalist and SHRED. Co-founder Ted Ligety for a shoot in Snowbird Utah.
The idea for this shoot was to get out and create a film that every rider and skier could relate to. Starting from day one the concept started to unfold and I was amazed to see how powerful skiing looks when one of the best in the world does it. In our sports, how you flow down the mountain matters and there is nothing more special than making something as simple as turn to look and feel powerful. To me, this was truly a powerful experience to be able to share runs with one of the legends of alpine skiing while we were searching perfect spots for turns and explored the concept of Art of Arc.
Enjoy the film.
