I haven´t been able to update my site recently because I have been busy hitting PowderPillows in Asahidake,Japan.
Joel Lahti came to ride with me for 10days in asahidake.
Past 2,5 weeks in Hokkaido,Japan was such a good experience.we only saw clear skies for one day but that didn´t bother us.snow was deep and footage for relate to it episode 2 will be the best I have ever filmed in Japan so far....
Cars are small but snowfalls are big in Japan! here is sneak peek video from last week. good times!

Last of my trip in Niseko,Japan I rode with legendary Niseko guide and rider Tomoki Takaku (right) he took us to some really fun and steep treeruns.it for sure was the best riding I have done in Japan.if you ever wanna get guiding in Niseko area you should contact these guys:http://powcom.net/
Tomoki is Gentemstick powdersurf rider. his board just floats so well....and the way he does turn reminds me a lot like Craig Kelly.Really nice turns...
First part of the trip has been just hitting pillows and banks. but couple days ago we ended up jump this fun transfer hip in Nakayama Pass.this was pretty much the only thing I have shaped during this trip so far...so good!
Im not going to be able update my site next week because Im heading to Asahidake area and like japanese people say it is ¨Internet free zone¨! hope to get to ride some of this kind of powder more.right now it seems that our second episode of Relate to it project will be really Killer one!...if you ever get a chance go to Japan and you can get one of the best days on snowboard EVER!
Yesterday we ended up hiking and riding in Kiroro area.snow is always good over there.
Billabong rider Jin Shimaya from Sapporo came to shred with me today.
Jin rides so fast in trees!.I think lot parkwarriors could learn thing or two from japanese snowboarders.the way they ride in powder is such a pleasure to watch.
I have been riding in Hokkaido 3 days now and pretty much hiking all the time. to me it is better way to snowboard than resorts.you might not get as many runs but you will for sure get better ones!
