Finland is having awesome snow year and it has made all the treeruns really fun to ride.Today I went to test my new AA PRO board at my home resort Ounasvaara.I got really scared when I was riding fast thru the trees and saw reindeer running right where I was going too...in Finland we don´t have avalanche danger but reindeer accident danger when riding seems to be considerable right now:-)

Mr DHL knocked on my door this morning.I received my brand new promodel board.Can´t wait to take it for a ride!

Past 2,5 weeks in Hokkaido,Japan was such a good experience.we only saw clear skies for one day but that didn´t bother us.snow was deep and footage for relate to it episode 2 will be the best I have ever filmed in Japan so far.Now Im going in Tokyo for couple days with Billabong crew and friends!

Just arrived in Niseko after 1day of traveling.there is so much more snow here than last year and it seems that it will keep on snowing much more this week! Can´t wait to go shred some freshies tomorrow!

Finnish Snowboard Mag. Slammer just released their latest issue.last September Me and My Filmer Laama went to film ANTIOUT movie in CHILE.The goal was to get good footage but we also ended up getting so many good photos that Slammer editors decided to give us a story of our trip in the magazine.

Transworld Japan interviewed me about Hokkaido,Japan. Stoked that they picked me along side with Nico Muller and Louif Paradis to give some anwsers of a place that I really love to visit and ride!

I have been in St.Moritz for a week and it has been sunny everyday.the snow has started to get a bit harder.it has been difficult to hit natural features and our crew was forced to start looking steep powder pockets for jumps. this particular jump was so big that it didn´t work the way we wanted.the air time compareing to landing was way off. other than this jump my trip has been really good and there is lot of fun looking footage in shotbank for upcoming project!

Past season I tested and worked closely with designers from Northwave / Drake to make my new bindings better than ever.Here is little sneak peek of my new Drake Supersport A+ bindings.Im also going to get my first ever pro model boot Legend SL.I really wanted my set up to have earthy colors and make them as light as possible so I could just focus on riding fast and not get tired at all!:-)

My buddy Joel Lahti decided to come shred and film with me for a week.today was first day for him in powder this season.fs360 indy in corviglia ski resort was not a bad start at all.

This season Im filming for Online episode project which will air exclusively in twsnow.com and onboardmag.com.I hope this method ends up in it!

Northern part of Finland is going to have great winter.Yeah Im claiming it.the signs are everywhere.there hasn´t been typical cold temperatures,this week it has been snowing more than it usually does during this time of year.Ruka,Finland and early morning pipe session.this photo was taken yesterday around 8.30am right after snowstorm.

My Swiss friend Pat Vermeulen took these photos of me during january 2008 in Davos. I was there filming and doing TTR world tour.after the contest was done it started snowing hard.this was our first sunny day after storm.

Pipe in Davos is one of my favourite ones.it is never too big! I like pipe with tight transition.it makes airtime way more fun when you have to pop a lot to do a good air!

It has allmost been a year since I have been riding pipe this big.It for sure took some time to get use the speed again.tomorrow we are going to have film session after resort closes.I have invited all my buddies to come shred.I hope that typical wind for the resort stays away at least for a day.

It has been windy and snowy for past week.weather was really warm for a while in Finland and it seemed that winter just doesn´t come at all. but once it started snowing it(winter) came strong and now we have a lot snow for this time of the year.Joel Lahti doing ollie between the trees!

I have been riding in Ruka for past couple days.Resort just opened first Superpipe in Finland....EVER! The Plan is to stay here for a week and shoot episode for upcoming project.Stay tuned for new video update!

I Just received perfect present from billabong. my new signature jacket and pants.Such a nice looking combo. Im really stoked how the design came out.

So my first trip of the season is done and I couldn´t imagine anything that I could have done different during my stay in Revelstoke BC. allthought it is still early season the snow back was quite good and I have already 16 powder days on my belt.

Filming in Revelstoke was nice but for sure start was a bit rusty.after a while things started to work better even thought there wasn´t enough snow for really huge features but we were able to find nice stuff from treeline. all and all it was a great trip to start my season and new project!

Today was annual world snowboarding day. mine took place in Revelstoke british columbia.20 cm of fresh powder and I ended up jumping this transfer cliff.it felt great to catch some air...

1,5 weeks without new snow in Revelstoke forced us to go look more snow from hiking spot Rogers Pass,BC.the fact is that if you are willing to hike a bit you will most likely find amazing playground and really good untouched terrain.

finally 2days ago it started snowing again and it´s on! I hope that the alps and scandinavia get snow this season. if not Im coming back to interior bc as soon as possible.
